The Neuropathology Unit employs several protocols of histochemistry, immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry, immunofluorescence and TUNEL (apoptosis in situ and in vitro) are performed in tissues such as brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, muscle tissue and livers of laboratory animals, or of tissues from human brain tumors and of cell cultures.The Unit is equipped with:
